i’mable Gift Market during National Family Week
i’mable Gift Market organised by SG Enable’s initiative, i’mable Collective showcased a range of products made or designed by artists with disabilities over the weekend of 3rd and 4th June 2023 at One Tampines Hub, This was in conjunction with National Family Week 2023, organised by Families for Life which aims to highlight the importance of family support and unity in nurturing the talents of individuals with disabilities.
Minister for Social and Family Development (MSF), Mr Masagos Zulkifli graced the event on 3rd June. He interacted with the talented artists, staff and volunteers from 10 social enterprises and social service agencies from Artably, Don8uri, Down Syndrome Association Singapore, E.VOL Studio, GentleHands Craft, JOJOMAMA, Journey by TOUCH Community Services, Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped, Singapore Fashion Runway and TeddyThotz.

From homeware to intricate jewellery, the market offered a wide range of items that reflected the diverse talents of the artists.
Families strolled through the market, appreciating the craftsmanship and beauty of the products on display. Parents shared heartwarming moments with their children, teaching them the values of acceptance, empathy and the limitless potential of every individual.
The i’mable Gift Market served as a platform for individuals to showcase their artisanal abilities and foster a greater understanding of inclusivity in society. Visitors who patronised the booths were encouraged to engage with the makers, learn about their stories and thoughtful collaborations and contributions under i’mable Collective , an initiative by SG Enable which creates opportunities and energises communities to bring about social impact.
