Corporate Gifts made by i'mable Collective artists to Commemorate Singapore Turf Club's 180th Anniversary

To commemorate Singapore Turf Club’s 180th year of racing, sports and recreation, the Club partnered SG Enable, a focal agency and first stop for disability and inclusion in Singapore, to create a collection of corporate gifts showcasing the remarkable talents and abilities of artists under the SG Enable’s initiative, i'mable Collective. This initiative serves to create a viable market for products made or designed by persons with disabilities.

Half-Leather Bound Journal

This exquisite half-leather bound journal was proudly handcrafted by artisans with disabilities from the SPD Artisan Collab. The SPD Artisan Collab is an initiative under the SPD Sheltered Workshop, which has been providing employment and training opportunities for persons with disabilities since 1964. Find out more here.

Mohamed Hussain

Hussain is responsible for the leather book binding craftsmanship at SPD Artisan Collab. He was diagnosed with polio at the age of two, which resulted in the weakening of his lower body.

Although Hussain uses a wheelchair to move around, he is always enthusiastic about learning new things and believes in living life to the fullest.

This sustainable series of lunchbox, cup, cutlery set and foldable bag were designed by two budding artists, Ernest and Phoebe, from the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore). They have seamlessly translated their unique artistic vision of professional horse racing and equestrian sport into stylish and sustainable souvenirs.

Ernest is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about creating unique and captivating artworks. He honed his skills through constant experimentation with various mediums and techniques, mastering each one with ease. Ernest has a great eye for details and is able to bring his artistic vision to life.

Phoebe Chua

Phoebe possesses a keen aesthetic sense and is currently learning graphic design to further pursue her passions. Sketching on her iPad brings her immense joy and she excels in creating intricate drawings. Much like her peers, she is an avid listener of K-Pop and takes a keen interest in all things trending.
