Initiatives Supported
Project 3i: CAREconnect
Enhanced community support for persons with disabilities and their caregivers through building capabilities of volunteers
The information shared by the parents in my caregiver support group was very helpful - I learnt a lot about how to raise my child with autism, and about SPED schools. It is also really nice to hear fellow caregivers share their thoughts, life experiences, encouragements and even failures.
- Feng Lu Jia, caregiver of a child with autism
Project 3i: CAREbuddy
Established a community network of trained caregivers to provide structured peer support
As caregivers ourselves, when we see other caregivers going through the struggles that we ourselves went through before, we know what it's like to be in that stage. So we know the right things to say or not to say.
- CAREbuddy
Project 3i: CAREwell
Provided integrated health and social support for families with complex needs
Community Circles Model
Connected caregivers to volunteers who rally around and journey with them
