Performing and Recording Music (Level 1)

This course introduces trainees to live performance, equipping them with instrumental and ensemble skills necessary for inclusive ensemble participation.
Trainees gain experience performing to small audiences, receiving constructive feedback for ongoing improvement. They learn to prepare performance elements and evaluate their own performances based on feedback. Developing skills to respond to feedback is emphasized for continual growth as performers. Additionally, trainees get to explore the sound recording process, learning to develop and execute recording plans independently.

Trainees will learn to:

1. Develop their instrumental and ensemble skills so as to enable them to perform music in a live environment, and
2. Develop their skills to plan, set up and record a piece of music in a home studio setting.

Mode of Delivery

Trainings are conducted in-person.
